We currently have a position for a Non-executive Director on the board of Trustees.

The Board of Trustees is accountable for the performance of the trust. The role of the trustee is to set strategy and hold the Executive Headteacher to account for delivery of that strategy and performance (including compliance).

Person specification

The trust seeks a trustee with exceptional business skills to join its board and support the trust in delivering improvement, growth and transformation. Candidates with experience of effective marketing strategy (with the aim of business growth) are welcomed alongside applicants with experience in management of a complex organisation with multiple sites/subsidiaries.


Time commitment

6 hours /month minimum.

About the Role

Schools must meet and observe a variety of guidelines and regulations, our growing trust seeks to appoint a  Legal, Governance and Compliance Officer to address the increasing levels of regulatory compliance required and advise on any other legal issues relating to the management of schools. Position Start Date: 01/09/2020

Contract Type: Full time 52 weeks, 37 hours. (Hours and weeks flexible)

Contract Term: Permanent

Pay Range: Grade 6 Pt 17-22 £28,785 – £32,878 (Salary negotiable dependent on experience)
