We are delighted that Directors have appointed Miss Huntington as Head of School from September to lead our school on a day to day basis;

‘I am excited to be working as Head of School in September and look forward to building on the amazing work that Ms Davis has done over the last 12 years. In that time, she has ensured that results have improved dramatically, increasing the life chances of our students; the reputation of the school is now excellent in both the local and wider community and we have a waiting list of students who want to join us in Year 7.  The last 18 months have been extremely challenging for staff, parents/carers and our students. With the promise of being ‘back to normal’ in

September, I hope there will more stability for our school community. We have had to make several changes to ensure our students get ahead but throughout the pandemic and going forward the same high standards and expectations remain. We look forward to welcoming our rising year 7s and we are excited to relaunch our enrichment programmes from September.  I am keen to work with our local community again and rebuild our links with local business to continue to ensure our students have the best life chances. Duke of Edinburgh has continued this year with our biggest numbers yet and will continue to grow as we come out of the pandemic. I hope you all have a lovely Summer with time to relax, recharge and re-energise ready for September’.
