We are proud to congratulate Penn Hall School on the publication of its latest Ofsted report, which confirms the school has achieved a strong standard across all key areas following an inspection in November 2025.

The report highlights the exceptional work of the entire staff team, who provide a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment for every pupil. Inspectors praised the school’s calm and purposeful atmosphere, where “relationships between staff and pupils are highly positive” and where “staff consistently model and expect positive behaviour.”

Key strengths identified by Ofsted include:

  • Inclusive Practice: Effective multi-agency support ensures personalised provision for pupils with a wide range of complex needs

  • Attendance and Behaviour: Consistently above national averages for specialist settings, with innovative strategies including on-site paediatric clinics

  • Leadership and Governance: A clear and ambitious vision, underpinned by rigorous oversight and a strong culture of professional development

  • Personal Development: A broad, enriching curriculum that prepares pupils for adulthood, including career-focused learning and student-led enterprise

  • Post-16 Education: High aspirations for all learners, with pathways including GCSEs, Functional Skills and vocational qualifications

This recognition reflects the care, commitment and high standards consistently demonstrated by staff at Penn Hall. Under the leadership of Headteacher Mr. Konrad Katarzynski, the school has continued to develop a truly inclusive model of education that supports every child to succeed.

Headteacher Mr. Konrad Katarzynski said:

“This report reflects the dedication and care our staff bring to every pupil, every day. We are proud to offer an environment where young people can flourish, and I want to thank our whole school community for their continued trust, effort and belief in what we do.”

The report also commends the support of the Amethyst Academies Trust, describing it as “highly effective” and central to the school’s ongoing culture of reflection and improvement.

“This is a fantastic outcome for Penn Hall and a testament to the professionalism and passion of the entire team,” said Nicola Licata, CEO of Amethyst Academies Trust. “We are delighted that Ofsted has recognised the strength of the school’s leadership, its inclusive ethos, and the excellent provision being delivered every day.”

The full report is available on the school website and will be shortly be published on Ofsted’s official site.

Congratulations again to the whole team at Penn Hall School, a shining example of what it means to Aspire, Achieve, Together.
