Introducing Amethyst Access Together
A New SEND Outreach Service Supporting Inclusive Education
We are delighted to announce the launch of Amethyst Access Together, a new SEND Outreach Service from the Amethyst Academies Trust, developed to strengthen inclusive practices and improve outcomes for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
This service is part of our continued commitment to equity and excellence across all Amethyst schools. It provides targeted SEND support, advice, and professional development to empower staff and ensure that every learner is given the opportunity to thrive.
What is Amethyst Access Together?
Amethyst Access Together is a SEND outreach and advisory service designed to provide responsive, expert support for schools working with children and young people with additional needs.
Currently available to schools within the Amethyst Academies Trust, this service brings together our specialist SEND practitioners from across phases to deliver bespoke, in-school support tailored to individual pupils, staff teams, and whole-school needs.
Looking ahead, we hope to expand Amethyst Access Together to offer support more widely to schools across the region. Our aim is to share our inclusive ethos and expertise to support broader educational communities.
Our Offer Includes:
✅ Targeted Outreach Support for individual learners with SEND
🎓 Staff Training and CPD on inclusive teaching, differentiation, and SEND strategies
🔍 Whole-School SEND Reviews to support leadership, provision, and planning
🤝 Consultation and Guidance on EHCPs, provision mapping, and early intervention
📚 Inclusive Teaching Resources to support high-quality SEND provision
This is a service built not just on intervention, but on collaboration and empowerment. We believe in equipping every teacher with the skills and confidence to meet diverse needs. Our goal is to build learning environments where all pupils feel supported, valued, and successful.

What’s Next?
At this stage, Amethyst Access Together is available exclusively to schools within the Trust. However, we are actively exploring ways to expand the service in the future to benefit a wider network of schools across the region.
This is an exciting first step in a long-term vision to lead on inclusive education and SEND excellence beyond our immediate community.
