A Brighter Future: Rising Stars Programme Inspires Students Across Amethyst Academies Trust
Amethyst Academies Trust is all about providing pathways to success for every learner in our community. We are incredibly proud of the collaborative effort between Aldersley High School and Moreton School’s Sixth Form in launching the groundbreaking Rising Stars Programme. This innovative initiative is a perfect example of our core belief that educational excellence is achieved by working together, sharing expertise, and investing in our students’ futures.
This programme, which brings together students from different year groups and schools, showcases the true power of our Trust. Our younger students at Aldersley High School are gaining invaluable skills like confidence, resilience, and leadership, mentored by their peers from the PSG Academy West Midlands, a Sixth Form football pathway based at Moreton School. The older students, in turn, are developing their own leadership abilities and sense of responsibility. This shared journey is a win-win for everyone involved.
The Rising Stars Programme is about building character and raising aspirations. It’s a tangible demonstration of our commitment to ensuring every student, no matter their background, has the opportunity to thrive and build a strong foundation for their future career, whether in education, employment, or beyond.
This journey will culminate in a formal graduation event where students will present their legacy projects, celebrating their growth and achievements with their families and peers. It is inspiring to see this model of collaboration being considered for a wider rollout across the Amethyst Academies Trust. The success of the Rising Stars Programme at Aldersley High School is a testament to the dedication of our staff and the ambition of our students, and we look forward to seeing its positive impact ripple across our entire Trust community.
